Responsibilities:
- Lead and further develop the company’s operations in China across current and future sites
- Define and implement a forward-looking China strategy in line with the overall Group strategy
- Develop a growth-oriented business plan for the period 2026–2030
- Drive profitable business growth, especially in non-automotive segments
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Mobility, New Energy, Robotics, Physical AI, Automotive, and other growth markets
- Take active responsibility for customer acquisition, customer retention, and strategic customer relationships
- Represent the company externally and build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and other key stakeholders
- Lead the continued establishment of a new production site in Northern China and support the development of an existing site in Eastern China into a technology center
- Strengthen local sourcing and support the company’s role as an APAC sourcing bridgehead
- Ensure operational excellence across production, supply chain, quality, cost, cash flow, and performance KPIs
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and IATF 16949 requirements
- Build, lead, and develop a strong local management team
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement
- Guide employees through change and transformation processes
- Report directly to the Board of Directors and work closely with the Group organization
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management or leadership position, ideally as General Manager, Division Head, or in a similar role
- Proven P&L responsibility in a globally operating manufacturing company
- Strong experience in the Chinese market and in leading local business operations
- Experience in business growth, market expansion, and customer development
- Experience in the non-automotive sector, preferably in technology-driven industries such as Robotics, Physical AI, Mobility, or New Energy
- Experience in the automotive supplier industry is an advantage
- Strong understanding of operational excellence, production KPIs, supply chain, quality management, cost engineering, and pricing strategies
- Experience in preparing and implementing business plans, strategic KPIs, calculations, balance sheets, and P&L statements
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on operational leadership
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high integrity, loyalty, emotional intelligence, and strong decision-making ability
- Ability to lead change, build trust, and motivate teams to high performance
- High intercultural competence and experience working with international teams
- Fluent English and Mandarin
- Willingness to travel intensively within China and occasionally internationally
