Head of Supply Chain

Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimize sales and returns logistics and develop efficient packaging solutions.
• Coordinate intercompany transportation between international production sites by air, rail, and sea.
• Drive optimization of complex supply chain and warehouse logistics in a global manufacturing context.
• Identify and implement cost-reduction and efficiency-improvement measures throughout the supply chain.
• Select, manage, and evaluate external logistics service providers.
• Oversee customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations.
• Review transport invoices and coordinate closely with the accounting department.
• Manage and develop local logistics teams, with a special focus on the Banská Bystrica operation.

Requirements:

• Completed higher education or vocational training in logistics or supply chain management.
• Several years of experience in international logistics, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in transportation, warehousing, returns logistics, customs, and shipping procedures.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple locations.
• Language proficiency: Slovak (fluent), English and/or German (C1).
• Structured and independent working style with a strategic mindset for process optimization.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude in international environments.
