Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the logistics department, including warehouse, internal logistics, shipping/receiving, packaging, and logistics planning teams.
- Ensure efficient material flows from supplier deliveries to production and from production to customers.
- Lead and optimize warehouse operations, material movements, FIFO processes, and stock accuracy.
- Implement and manage SAP processes for logistics, materials management, and inventory control.
- Ensure packaging management, including packaging design, optimization, compliance, and inventory monitoring.
- Plan, monitor, and optimize logistics costs and budgets.
- Coordinate customer deliveries and ensure on-time shipments to OEM and Tier-1 customers.
- Lead logistics planning for production, including demand forecasting, capacity planning, call-offs, and scheduling.
- Implement continuous improvement activities (Lean Logistics, 5S, standardization).
- Cooperate with production, purchasing, quality, engineering, and finance teams.
- Prepare and analyze logistics KPIs and propose improvement measures.
- Manage external logistics providers, transport companies, and packaging suppliers.
Requirements:
- Experience in leading logistics teams, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Expert knowledge of SAP (MM, WM, PP, or similar modules).
- Strong skills in developing and optimizing material flow processes.
- Discipline and structure in warehouse management and all material movements.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cycle counts, and stock accuracy control.
- Experience with packaging management (returnable and one-way packaging).
- Strong analytical profile and project management skills.
- High level of numerical literacy and ability to work with data and KPIs.
- Knowledge of automotive logistics standards and customer-specific logistics requirements.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Slovak and English or German language required.
