Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations of the production department (ca. 100–150 employees)
• Ensure production targets are achieved according to cost, quality, and delivery KPIs
• Implement continuous improvement processes (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, SMED)
• Cooperate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and Engineering departments
• Supervise and develop team leaders, production supervisors, and operators
• Plan production capacities and optimize material and workforce utilization
• Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvement actions
• Ensure cost efficiency and compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Lead and develop the operational team, fostering a culture of responsibility, motivation, and performance
• Drive customer satisfaction and ensure on-time delivery in line with global automotive industry standards​
• Report production results to the Plant Manager and the management team

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Production Manager role in the automotive production
• Strong knowledge of plastics processing (plastics injection moulding) and automotive standards (IATF 16949, Lean, etc.)
• Fluent Slovak is required; German or English is an advantage
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Resilience and ability to handle stress and fast-paced operations
