Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the production of the components and full seating products
• Ensuring that products are produced on time, of good quality, and meet all customer and company standards
• Supervising the safety and environmental protection of the production site, applying the relevant regulations
• Ensuring the achievement of planned goals – KPI
• Identifying and addressing issues affecting production to optimize cost performance and reduce working capital
• Strengthening continuous improvement through the implementation of LEAN principles and best practices
• Ensuring that strict predictive and preventive maintenance procedures are used to increase efficiency and extend the life of capital equipment
• Preparing and documenting production records and staff training and performance records
• Preparing budgets and production planning for materials, work, and equipment
• Increasing the level of automatization and digitalization
• Close cooperation with the other departments of the plant (especially quality, logistics, and engineering), sister plants and the headquarter in Germany
• Building up collective “company spirit”

Requirements:

• Experience in furniture or car seating production
• Experience with managing teams of several hundreds of employees
• Hands-on style of leadership
• Good managerial and communication skills
• High focus on quality and robust industrial processes
• Customer orientation
• English or German – min. level B2
