Customer Quality Engineer (m/w)

Customer Quality manager ensures that the products meet quality requirements. CQM coordintates with quality managers to discuss and resolve product quality issues raised by customers and updates customers in a timely fashion regarding the status of quality issues or any requests.

Job position


  • Planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing all quality-relevant measures
    during product and process development
  • Acting as a key contact and support for the customer for all quality-relevant topics during the product development phase
  • Taking responsibility for risk management
  • Confirming the tractability from product requirements to product validation by working in close cooperation with the engineering teams
  • Product development maturity level by using appropriate quality tools and methodologies
  • Driving quality assurance activities during the product industrialization phase
  • Driving review processes on technical documentation
  • Organize and follow up of customer audits
  • Minimize quality risks and future Scrap Cost
  • Support customer in case of problems
  • Perform Quality Statistics and Reports


Job requirements


  • Ing. degree in electrical engineering, Quality engineering
  • Experience on similar position
  • Quality tools knowledge
  • Familiar with Lean Principles
  • Methodical approach to problem solving
  • English or German (B2)
  • requirements management, including tools like DOORS
  • quality methods / tools used during development – FMEA, FTA etc.
  • development lifecycles like V-model, Waterfall, Agile etc.
  • relevant quality standards and tools (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, QS9000, VDA 6.3., Automotive SPICE standards, Functional safety, Risk assessment, etc.)
  • fluent English; all other languages (e.g. German, French) are considered as an asset
